MODULE 1: THE MASTERING CHAIN
In this first module Aubrey walks through her mastering chain in both software and hardware and masters a track from start to finish. See the plugins she uses to get a master that translates on every audio device, as well as getting a deep dive into her mastering techniques. 
 
MODULE 2: METERING & FREQUENCY BALANCE
In this module we take a look at the relevance of LUFS, True Peak, Correlation Metering and frequency balance. This module demystifies the use of LUFS for monitoring how loud your track is and how this affects your track when it goes on the streaming platforms. 
 
MODULE 3: COMPRESSION & LIMITING
In this module, we explore the intricacies of compression in mastering, how mid/side compression can add stereo width, how multiband compression can help tighen very dynamic mixes and how to properly use a limiter for transparent and loud masters
 
MODULE 4: EQ & TONAL BALANCE
In this module we look at the benefits of static EQ vs dynamic EQ in mastering, the use of analog tonal EQ for smoothness and how to get a brilliantly balanced frequency curve across the spectrum. As well as mastering another track from start to finish.
 
MODULE 5: CLIPPING & VINYL MASTERING
In this module we delve into how a process called 'clipping' can lead to louder and richer sounding mixes and how it works with your limiter. Then we look at how mastering for vinyl requires a different set of requirements, including a look at how you can create DDP files for the vinyl/CD pressing plants and how you can ensure consistent volume across different tracks when mastering an EP or an album.
 
MODULE 6: MASTERING TRACKS LIVE WITH AUBREY
In this final module, Aubrey masters 2 different tracks from start to finish, incorporating everything we have learned in the course.
