What’s a Mixing Chain?
A mixing chain is a pre-made sequence of plugin settings - EQ, compression, saturation, reverb, delay and more - all designed to shape your mixes into a radio-ready final product. Instead of starting from scratch, you simply load the chain on your master channel and tweak it to taste.
This Mastering Chain uses the following plugins which you will need to have installed already on your computer (plugins not included with the purchase, just the preset files).

If you don't have a plugin(s) listed here you can easily replicate the settings in a plugin of your choice using the plugin screenshots provided. The Guidance Booklet also comes with some suggested altnerative plugins for the ones used in the mastering chain.

Pro-designed plugin presets - I have selected a range of my go-to plugins and used them in a mix to get the perfect settings for Chart Pop mixes. You get a copy of the preset file for each plugin I've used in the Mastering Chain which includes the exact plugin settings I use in my own mixes for major labels and artists, exported and ready for you to load into the plugins for an instant pro sound
Full plugin screenshots – quickly recreate the chain if you don't use the same plugins, or if you want to customise the chain
Instruction guidebook – A detailed guidebook that explains why I've chosen each plugin in the chain, and how you can optimise the settings to get the best sound possible
Compatible with all DAWs – this mastering chain works via drag-and-drop into the plugins or by manual replication. *Logic Pro users additionally get the mix chain as a .cst file meaning you can load the entire chain with a single file!
This mastering chain was created using the same tools and settings I use daily in masters for major labels and major artists - all crafted and tested across multiple styles within the EDM genre (Mainstream EDM, Dance-Pop, House, Dubste, Trance, Techno etc), and has been designed to stand up in terms of quality, dynamics, tone, and loudness with tracks in the current global charts.
You can also use this chain as mixbus chain (pre-mastering chain) instead of a mastering chain. Simply remove the limiter!
